Systems Informed Positive Psychology

Over the past few years, we have been developing an area called Systems Informed Positive Psychology (SIPP), which explicitly incorporates principles and concepts from the systems sciences into positive psychology theory, practices, discourse, and methodologies to optimize human social systems and the individuals within them.

Learn More About SIPP
We are excited to share SIPP with you. Explore more about SIPP through the links below or using the navigation at the top of the page.

Note: We initially called this new area Positive Systems Science, or PSS. As I have thought about this further, I believe that SIPP is more appropriate. My work in this area applies the systems sciences to positive psychology. We do believe that there is value in applying some of the approaches and perspectives from positive psychology to the systems sciences, but that goes beyond my expertise. Due to the name change, you'll find inconsistencies on this website, due to this shift.
