Life has taken me all over the place. Originally from Tucson, Arizona, I earned my PhD at the University of California, Riverside, spent 4 years in Philadelphia as a postdoc at the University of Pennsylvania, and now live in Melbourne Australia. Besides staying busy on research projects or teaching, I enjoy being active - especially running and cycling, but anything outdoors. I enjoy cooking and baking, often creating my own healthy recipes (see some of my recipes). I also like to collect quotes that strike my fancy.
